Cuteness Quadrupled

Today  was our last  really warm day before a cold front is supposed  to come through.  We hit like 80 degrees today and later this week they are talking possible snow flurries! :-( So anyways, I"m trying to squeeze in as much photography practice as I can....bare with me. (Hopefully you guys aren't totally sick  of me posting photoshoots haha.)

This morning before  taking Raya to preschool we did a little girl cousin trio photoshoot. I went  for a vintage edit on these first couple.

Considering that a majority of people think Raya looks like Lee and that Harper looks like her mom, I  find it amusing that all three girls look so much like  eachother! :-) My brother and I must have passed on some genes somewhere in there I guess.

Then a non-vintage edit...

Then after preschool we had the man of the group here, so we had to re-do the cousin photoshoot to include him---or I never would have heard the end of it from Grandma Donna I'm sure! ;-)

Another vintage edit---how stinkin' adorable is this? It's already framed and hanging on my wall :-)

And  some of the cousin outtakes...seriously,  I die over Sawyer's pose! LOL. And Miss Brielle did  awesome with the pottry training for 2 weeks, and now the last couple days she has gotten very lazy...she had one outfit change before Sawyer  arrived and then another after we got him (leaving her pantless in these photos :-P)

This perfectly sums up all their personalities in a nutshell pretty much haha

(Harper wanted  Brielle to look  and smile at the camera---Raya was giving her "sassy" pose---and Sawyer? God only knows!)

And then I did a photoshoot for just  Sawyer, because I haven't taken any individual pics of him in a long time, and he was wearing a new outfit today so it worked out :-)

He did this pose all on his  own haha. Very GQ ;-)

This is totally a Sawyer look!

And then we took a picnic  break---these pics aren't edited much---I  got lazy ;-)

Those pigtails kill me with cuteness

Poor squinty Sawyer got stuck sitting in the sun!

Then it was time to play in the sandbox!

Taking shoes  off to get in the sandbox!

Little Miss pee-pants. I finally  put a pull up on her because we ran out of panties! She better  get her act together soon---I know she can  do it since she was accident free for almost 2 weeks. Little shit :-P (She secretly wants to try on as many outfits as possible each day I think hehe)

Royally PO'd because Harper dumped sand on her  head!

Yes, she's quite  evil somtimes ;-)

Hope you guys are able to keep your nice  weather---Iowa is  so lame sometimes---if we get snow this week I'm moving :-P

Miss Blue(berry) eyes

Remember the time that  Raya told me Brielle had "blueberry eyes" instead of blue  eyes? :-) Well, she certainly does on days like this when she's wearing lots of blue!
These were taken this weekend when I also took Raya's birthday outfit photos (that I already posted earlier). I had Raya  outside  taking pics  and the next thing I know Brielle comes out on the porch pantless, wearing sandals that still had the tags attached LOL. She  wanted a photoshoot too, so we let her take a couple pics hehe.

....and just to prove that the  child *did* have pants at one point....

She insists on carrying around  her Dora pjs....that's  the only  way I can get her  to put real clothes  on :-)

A Day In The Life

Awhile back when I was asking for post suggestions someone asked for a "day  in the life" type post...so here it is! :-)

I find that it's somewhat hard to do these now that I don't have babies, because every day is so different and often spur of the moment. When I had smaller kids I had a more strict schedule  because we had multiple naps and feedings to plan around. Now it's a pretty loose schedule.

6am: Girls wake me up (They have never been ones to sleep in. I occassionally  get to sleep until 6:30, but most days they are up by 6.)
6-7am: Breakfast (I like a nice  relaxing breakfast, so it lasts a good hour haha. The girls watch cartoons while eating cereal, and I check my email/fb/blog/etc while  also eating cereal. The girls are on a Lucky Charms kick and I'm a Frosted Mini Wheats sort of girl right now. I *never* cook for breakfast. We have cereal or sometimes  instant oatmeal or toast ;-)
7am-7:30am: Girls get dressed/do hair/brush teeth (I usually  try to snap a quick  picture  of them each morning after they are dressed and ready.)
7:30-8am: I shower/get dressed
8:15am: On Tuesday/Thursday preschool days  we leave at this time and Raya has preschool from 8:30-11:00am. On non-preschool days we watch TV (I am not at all against  TV---it's on a lot  here, sometimes my shows and sometimes their shows), play outside, play games, etc. At least one day a week we go into town around 10am and run errands and eat lunch (at McDonalds or some other play with a play area).
11am-noon: Lunch (A rotation of chicken noodle soup, mac n cheese, grilled cheese, PB sandwich, chicken nuggets, etc. We always have  yogurt/fruit/etc. with lunch as well.)
Noon-1pm: Free play
1pm-3pm: Raya does rest time downstairs watching TV. She falls asleep probably 2 days a week, the other days she just watches TV. Brielle naps during this time. I pick up the house during this time, and then watch TV or computer  time.
3pm-3:30pm: Snack and cartoons
3:30-5pm: If the weather is nice we often go to a park at this time. Otherwise we play downstairs or in the playroom.

**In the summer our afternoon is often reversed---we go to the swimming pool or splash pad from 1-3ish and then Brielle either skips nap or does a short nap until around 4pm. Brielle does fine skipping naps on days we are gone.

5-6pm: Play with Daddy (Lee gets home around 5pm so the girls usually hang out with him for awhile and I try to figure out something we can have for supper. I do not enjoy cooking and rarely meal plan, so when he gets home at 5pm I quick come up with something I can throw together ;-) It's nice in the summer because we pretty much just grill every night.
6pm-7pm: More playing with Daddy
7pm: Bath time (We do baths every other night in the winter, daily in the summer)
7:30pm: The girls have been reading Bible stories with Lee and singing Bible songs :-P
7:45-8:30pm: Cartoons (Raya usually  falls asleep during this time. By 8:30 though they are both wanting to go to bed.
8:30pm-9pm: Mama winddown time/relax
9pm-midnight: When my Etsy shop is open I spend this time sewing and watch my DVR'd shows. Lee hangs out in his man room watching baseball, etc.
Midnight: I go to bed! I get 6 hours of sleep at night and it actually doesn't  bother me. Back when I was working outside the home though I went to bed much sooner, usually no later than 10pm. After being with the girls all day I just hate "wasting" my kid free time sleeping lol.

Birthday Outfit Preview (And Trendy Tot "Tuesday")

Well, I wasn't  going to share birthday outfit pics  until  closer to her  birthday (May 18th) but it was so nice outside we did an impromptu birthday outfit try-on today ...and the pics  are so cute I  just can't  help but  share ;-)  (Shirt made by me--etsy shop No Paparazzi Please, crown is  from Etsy shop Two  Little  Bluebirds, and skirt is from Naartjie. Shoes are  Target. )

I guess since  we aren't  doing a birthday party this year we don't  have to keep the photos a secret until invites are out or anything...so why not share them  now right?! Raya is getting so excited for her birthday vacation...less than 2 weeks until  we leave!

Can't believe my first  baby girl is almost 4 years old <3

Yesterday we got a new bench for our front porch :-)
Glad I was able to capture  her "chipmunk smile" that is totally her  at this age! lol

**Counting this post as my Trendy Tot Tuesday post this week too---linking up with Megan, Lindsay, and Kelly) **

Finally, some spring weather for more  than one random day!! We've had like two days of spring weather this year---both times we got to the park quickly because the weather wasn't supposed  to last. But today the warm weather is here and it's staying!!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited for our gorgeous weekend ahead. And yes, Brielle even went sleeveless for awhile today because she was hot!

The girls played for over 2 hours at the local park. Two different little girls from Raya's preschool were there and she played and played. Brielle had fun too---she loves the big slides! After the girls wake up from naps/rest time we plan on hitting DQ for some icecream and then going to another park! Hey, why not right?! :-)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Brielle's dress/leggings are ZUTANO and the jacket is Pumpkin Patch---both consigment store finds  last year!

Peeking in at her  through the hole on the tunnel :-)

Brielle looks as happy as we all feel---bring on summer!
