First off, don't miss my previous 2 updates from today--professional picture sneak peek! :-)
Now here is the second part of my Easter post that I promised. Raya had a blast hunting for the eggs the Easter Bunny brought. I told the bunny only to hide one bag of eggs, b/c Raya's attention span is (normall) zilch, but the child had SO MUCH FUN hunting for eggs!! The bunny ended up re-hiding the eggs three different times, and it almost made us late to Easter at my mom and dad's haha.
Raya was less thrilled with her Easter basket. She just wanted to find more eggs! She did like taking out her new shoes though and trying to put them on Brielle's feet--silly girl.
Brielle woke up extra early and found the first egg before Raya was awake! ;-) Then she sat back and let Raya do most of the hunting, but Daddy helped her find one! Brielle was as thrilled as a baby can be about her Easter basket hehe.
I've got Etsy shirts to go make (been selling a shirt every 1-2 days lately, so not bad! Plus, the boutique owner at the mall finalized her order and needs it by next Monday, so I will be working on bday shirts and hair pretties like crazy!
....for those reasons you can pretend this update is like a picture book---you infer your own text :-P (Click each collage to blow it up and see it bigger!)
Enjoy--

PS
One more to add to my last post....couldn't help but compare Raya and Brielle.
Raya at 3 months is on the left, Brielle on the right. Face shape and lips/chin seem identical to me, but the eyes! That's where they are completely different--one brown eyed and one blue eyed....both adorable :-)

SNEAK PEEK!
The girls' sneak peek professional pictures are up....I'm giddy with excitment, they look great!!!
Here's my favorite of Raya (sorry, little blurry b/c they're just screenshots):
She perfectly captured Raya's serious look and big brown eyes. There is also a little peek of Raya in her birthday outfit, giggling like crazy--so we captured both sides of her personality--perfect!
And Miss Brielle:
My blue eyed girl :-)
Check out the rest of the sneak peek here: http://atplayphoto.com/blog/?p=2448
It'll probably be another week before all the other pics are ready....I'll let you all know when I get them!!!

Easter Day
I have lots of pics from this morning at our house for Easter, but I've got these pics from my mom's camera today that I need to share first...so we're going out of order. Tomorrow I'll share the cute pics from this morning :-)
But today at Easter for my mom's side (Lee's parents came too) we got good pics as well!
All three girls wore their matching outfits lol...too cute
Then we attempted a picture with Grandma and all four grandkids....somewhat a disaster getting 4 kids to all look at the same time LOL
At least we tried!
My little cousin helped Sawyer and Raya do Easter crafts :-)
John referred to the dining room as the "hen house" haha.
My Aunt who's getting married next weekend got to play with Miss Brielle :-)
My cousin's little girl was out like a light!
We did a pinata instead of an egg hunt---it was a hit! (pun intended)
Addie busted it! Love the expressions of everyone in the background lol
Then we let Keegan hit the empty one, since Addie broke it before he had a turn!
Raya and Brielle got great Easter baskets from both sets of grandparents--thanks!!
Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!
I'm not religious, but what's not to celebrate when you're talking a giant bunny who hides eggs and brings gifts?! Daddy bunny got all the eggs hidden and I can't wait to see what Raya thinks in the morning! Then it's Easter on my mom's side, but Lee's parents are coming too, so it should be a nice time. Yay for family and food and little girls celebrating their first and second Easters...I just love them :-)
Today we had to run some errands, and then had lunch at Hu Hot. It was the first time we've been in public and had people ignore Raya in order to ooh and ahh over Brielle instead. Usually Raya steals the show but today everyone had to comment on cutie Brielle!
She was lookin' mighty cute in her little hat :-)
Raya got jealous of Brielle's hat and next thing I know I hear "Mama! Mama look!" and she's wearing her very own special hat haha.
She's a silly girl
I know why Brielle stole the show today though...it's because she was so happy and smiley! At Hu Hot she was just happy as can be sitting on my lap and looking out over the sea of her admirers :-)
and she stayed all smiles once we got back home!
"Yeah, I"m adorable...so what?"
...and speaking of adorable, check out the masterpiece I created today for Miss Raya
Um yeah, I totally made that. And it's awesome :-P
If you know me, you know I'm a sucker for the ruffle pant sets. I have spent many hours drooling over the pricey boutique sets being sold on Etsy. I have gotten Raya a couple pairs of ruffle pants on Etsy, but I"ve never splurged for a custom set--why? Because they go for at least $40, more commonly upwards of $65. But now I've made my own, and I love it. LOVE.
Check out the back...Yes, I made a sash!
(Oh, and the sash is even haha...I tied it crooked apparently in this pic)
Not wanting to be wasteful, the bottom of the tshirt that I cut off is what I cut into strips, ruffled, and then sewed to the bottom of the shirt and onto the pants. :-) I even made a funky clippie
No, this outfit won't be in my Etsy store for the time being. Mainly b/c it's a fairly complicated outfit to make and I did it from scratch--no pattern or anything. I feel like I need to make a couple more outfits like this before selling the, so I can work out all the kinks and figure out what I need to charge to make it worth my time, etc. But hopefully soon these outfits will be in my store!!!
I made the pants after Raya was in bed, but I had her try on the shirt quick tonight....she was GRUMPY and wouldn't pose, so these aren't great pics, but you kinda get the idea. I love the fabric :-)
^^See, the sash is even :-)
Ok, better get my butt to bed....we've got egg hunting to do in the morning!
