Time out

Sorry faithful blog followers, but I think I'm going to be taking a "time out" from the blog for a few days. My etsy shop is blowing up! haha. Go figure, when I'm out of town practically every weekend and super busy that's when suddenly everyone wants to buy from me :-P I currently have a list of EIGHT shirts to make, one owl birthday outfit with skirt, a ring bearer pillow for the wedding this weekend, and now the store at the mall just contacted me and said she's wanting to order about 9 more birthday shirts with matching hair clips! Yay money, but my goodness, busy busy :-) Did I mention here yet that before I left for vacation this past weekend I stopped by the mall and showed them my tutus I started making? Well she liked them and said she was going to make up and order for some of those too. NoPaparazziPlease is taking over the world :-)

For fun to hold you all over until we're back, I found some pictures of Raya and her friend Brynley from earlier meetings, and I thought it'd be fun to share them so we can see how much they've grown!

This was their first meeting. Raya was about a month old and Brynley was 5 months

Then this meeting was about a month later I  think, and for some reason this is the only picture I have of them together from that trip

Then who could forget this meeting when they both discovered their daddies disgusting love of pheasants :-P Raya was like 7 months and Bryn was almost 11 months I think

This was from that same trip

Then they did meet one other time when Raya was almost 12 months--at Terri and Caleb's wedding--but I don't have any pictures of them together from that trip for some reason! Bryn  must have been too busy with her flower girl duties :-)

"See" you all in a few days!! And wish me luck getting these orders done, since my kids refuse to nap at the same time so I basically have to do all of my sewing after 9 pm when Brielle goes to bed!

Girls Weekend

We had fun on our girls weekend. ....except for the 3 hour drive there and back, during which Brielle screamed. My poor head. It may have only lasted 30 minutes or so on the way home, but it felt longer! Raya and Brynley had fun playing together, with some typical 2 year old fighting over toys haha. We went to a children's museum on Thursday, a zoo on Friday, played in the sprinkler on Saturday, and headed back home on Sunday...here are some pictures of our adventures--enjoy!

They were fast friends :-)

Equally goofy!

You can see that Raya was thrilled about this hug

Fun at the children's museum....

Brielle had as much fun as a baby can have :-)

This was really cool....they could paint on these windows!

Once again, Brielle was having tons of fun! :-P

We got one of all 4 girls...Raya, Brynley, Maddy, and Brielle!

"Come on, let's go!"

Bath time each night was lots of fun for Raya....Terri blows bubbles for Brynley in the bath so Raya is all about "popping" at bath time now!

Getting ready for the zoo!

Raya and Brynley walked hand in hand through the whole zoo pretty much....it was so cute! They wore their coordinating shirts I made them too, so of course lots of people "awww'd" over them :-)

Brielle slept through the zoo trip

After the zoo we went across the street to a park and let the girls play. Brielle did a photoshoot with Mama!

After the zoo all hell broke loose on the car ride home. Brielle was screaming, which got everyone else crying....it was horrible pretty much

So we went through a drive through to try to calm to older kids down...got them milk and french fries. Well Brynley passed out right away, but my chunk butt Raya couldn't go to sleep without eating those fries! She was falling asleep as she was shoving them in her face--it was so funny. Then all of a sudden I looked back and saw she had fallen asleep--french fry on her shoulder, the rest still tightly gripped in her greasy hand!

A little later we heard a crash---she lost the grip on the fries and they tumbled to the floor---she kept sleeping haha

Maddy and Brielle

Later that night we played outside and the girls enjoyed popsicles. Clearly they didn't like them.

Then Saturday we did the sprinkler ( and water hose)...fun!

Brielle watched from the sidelines. Terri laughed at how Brielle always looks like she's praying with those little clasped hands!

Busy week ahead of etsy orders, house showing, and packing for our next trip...I"m tired just thinking about it!

Later!

Still alive

Yes, we're all still alive and well. We're enjoying a girls only vacation visiting friends for about 5 days though so that's why my blog has been missing in action! Last night we took everyone to a children's museum and today we're going to the zoo! Miss Raya is loving playing with her friend Brynley and Brielle is doing pretty well with all the changes in environment. The 3 hour drive here was a little painful....peace and quiet for the first 2 hours and then both girls lost their minds at the same time, making the last hour of the drive pretty ear peircing! However we made it :-)

I'll have pictures to share when I return home....just thought I'd check in quick!

The party aftermath

It's official. We should take back all of Raya's birthday presents because her favorite toy by far are the balloon party decorations! We got back home today and she took those balloons for "walks" around the house all afternoon haha

She was also very happy to be home and get her hands on her beloved chapstick LOL

Raya also had a birthday card in the mail today from Aunt Megan and Uncle Shawn. My oh my she was THRILLED to see her beloved Mickey Mouse on that card!

Brielle had a very rough car ride home today. I"m dreading our long drive coming up when I take the girls to visit our friends in IL! Brielle screamed pretty much the whole way home today and was hyperventalating and snotting all over herself, poor baby. When we got home I had to give her some extra cuddles to make up for the trauma :-P

I don't think she was permanantly damaged :-)

Raya wanted to take pictures with me too. I'd say "press your cheek to mine!" and she'd do this:
