(Nearly) Wordless Wednesday

I use Picasa to edit my photos, and today I suddenly noticed all kinds of new edits you can run. I have no idea how long ago those were added haha....but today I had some fun playing with them.

So enjoy our (nearly) wordless Wednesday post!

This is "polaroid"

Pinterest Fun

So we haven't done anything today and I have nothing to blog about!

Rather than skip an update altogether I thought I'd share some of my favorite recent pins from Pinterest :-)  (Don't  forget to follow me there!)

How fun is this cutlery set for the girls?!

This shirt made me think of Raya hehe

When the girls start sharing a room I want to do a closet organization system (b/c they have way too many clothes for one closet otherwise!) so I've been pinning ideas, like this one

Our pantry desperately needs these pullouts

So there, hope you enjoyed my pins!! I'll try to come up with something more exciting for tomorrow :-)

Playing outside!

So this weekend we had more nice weather. Sunday Lee  got our water table  out for the girls and set it up on the deck for me. That way I can lounge at the patio set with my computer and cold beverage, while still supervising the girls as they drink  the water and dump it on each other ;-)

This was Brielle's first experience with the water  table  if I remember correctly, because last  summer she was too little. She loved it! She drank lots of water haha. Raya had fun bathing her baby and pooring water down the front of her shirt. 'Tis the life!

Their Daddy dressed them, so pay no attention to their mismatched  attire lol. You can't even
fully  appreciate their outfits because you can't  see that  he picked  out pants  for Brielle with camo print patches on the front....rather than choose the coordinating leggings  that  were attached to the shirt he chose lol. And poor  Raya's
big  old tush squeezed into leggings with a too short shirt hehe

We also  did some bike riding in the new helmuts we got on Saturday! Daddy even rigged up the Dora bike  bell for her old bike. We're still planning on getting her a new bike for her birthday probably....we had  her test out some Minnie Mouse ones at the store the other day.

I mainly wanted Brielle to have hers for sprinting down the driveway lol. At least  now her head  is protected! :-P

My little crash test dummy ;-)
Lastly, since a few posts back  I  did a "I  love my driveway/front yard" post I thought today I'd show a little love to our back yard hehe. Yesterday Lee mowed (yes, in March!! The grass was so long already though haha...he even had to go back  and bag it!)

Can you spot Lee  and his  lawnmower?

Who can spot  Griffin? ;-)  Lee is working on training them to obey the underground  dog fence.
We love our back yard! When the kids  are a little  bigger we are going to get one of those big inflatable  pools in the back....and I'm debating a swingset for this summer (although we go to the park so often that may not be necessary).

Usually around Mother's Day we go get a bunch of flowers  to plant and spruce up mulch beds, etc. I'm excited since this is the first year we'll be doing this at our new house!! Are any of you gardeners? What types of flowers/plants  do you like to plant?

That's all  I've got for  today---later!

Let's try this again!

So my parents said that my last post wouldn't let them watch the movies or comment....it just kicked them offline any time they tried---weird! Did anyone else have that problem?

Just in case, here are links  to the movies again....we'll see if this works :-)

Here is Brielle's movie

Here is Raya's movie

I'll  do a real post later...Happy Monday!

Who's your favorite?

So we like to play the  "who's your favorite?" game at our house. It *used* to be a fun game when we just had Raya, because Raya has  always been a Mama's girl....so I was always her  favorite and it was a fun game to rub in Daddy's  face LOL. But now we have Miss Brielle. And  she  is a Daddy's girl through and through! And she only  says about 5 words with meaning, and one of them is "da da"....here she was this morning watching Daddy out the kitchen window working in the yard:

Here is Raya playing the "who's  your favorite?" game as well....I like Raya's answer much better LOL (she also says the ABCs for you all---and I have no idea why she messes them up at the  end like she does here. She used to say the whole thing correctly, and for some reason she's now in the habit of getting to "r" and then reverting to the beginning again :-P )

(And I can't remember who told me how to embed videos in my blog  post last  time, but thanks!! I figured it out this time :-)

To end, here are some pictures from today. We didn't  do much today....we drove 1.5 hours each way to get our taxes done because  Lee's former coworker/friend has a tax place back in our old town and he always cuts us a deal on the tax prep haha. Anyways we finally  for the first time since we've been married are getting a refund from both state and federal....wahoo!!! After doing taxes we did a little celebratory dinner at Texas Roadhouse and then took the girls to Toys R Us where Raya got a new Dora bike helmut and bike bell haha. Very exciting stuff :-)

***Must add, as I'm sitting here Lee just got Brielle to  say "I love you Da Da"....so cute!! Then he said "say Mama" and she smiled and said "Dada!"   Little stinker.

Ok, here are the pics....

Raya was obsessed with watching movies of herself this morning LOL  (and this is one of her new summer outfits
from Naartjie, my  favorite brand ever :-)

Here's  Brielle "talking on the phone"

Dress from Old Navy. It's actually  long sleeve but it's a 18-24 month size and way too big
so I just rolled the sleeves up haha

Lastly, I often get annoyed when Brielle  is so stinkin' cute but won't look at the camera to let me take pictures! But today I decided that when I'm old and my kids are all grown up then I will probably  enjoy looking back at pictures of them playing with their toys, even if they aren't looking at the camera :-) So here are some pictures just capturing Miss Brielle as she enjoys being little and playing!!

Here's to a rockin' weekend! Later everyone :-)
