Fashion Friday (and tunnels :-)

First up, Fashion Friday--my favorite day of the week! hehe. Today Brielle gets to be our model--isn't she cute?

Long time readers may remember this cute  camo tulle  skirt from Brielle's 6 month photo session :-) Unfortunately  it was the last outfit we did that day so we didn't  really get great pics of her  in it though.

So anyways, my petite girl can still easily  wear this 12 month skirt....and it's very cute don't you think!?  It's from Children's Place (and so are the cream ruffle bottom leggings)

And so Fashion Friday today I  am featuring  Children's Place! Is there  any parent in the world who doesn't shop there? Probably not haha. However  if you aren't a regular shopper there you should know the golden rule of shopping at Children's Place--there are ALWAYS coupons to be found and NEVER buy anything not on sale. Everything there goes on sale. And early. I swear it's only full price for the first couple weeks haha. The only thing I've ever bought there full price actually is the camo skirt! I broke  my own cardinal rule--but I wanted it for pictures and needed it right  away. I'm pretty sure a couple weeks later it was already on sale and I was mad at myself :-P

Some of my favorite  items right now there would have  to be this floral dress , this ruffle covered purple swimsuit , these adorable blue and pink  striped ballet flats , and these apple sunglasses !!

For boys (if  I had them) I like this seersucker blazer , all  their plaid shirts , and these cute little  baseball socks

So go shopping! :-P

Here is Brielle modeling again, just because she's so darn cute!

Making funny faces

Raya  was not impressed that Brielle was a one trick pony with her funny face LOL

Also, in case you haven't seen my sibling Easter set, here it is :-)  Can be purchased HERE  ...set can be any combo of brother/sister  or big/little  brother or big/little sister etc.

And then I also have a new personalized chick shirt version (boy or girl) ...can be purchased HERE

And finally today, as I said yesterday I went to Ikea! I saw this play  tunnel for cheap and since it would match the girls' room perfectly I got it for them.  They love it! It's actually much nicer/thicker/sturdier than other play tunnels I've seen. Folds up tiny too!

Hugs for Minnie :-)

Road Trip!

Sorry guys---no real update, no pictures, nothing! Why, you may ask? Because I was road tripping from sun up to sun down today! My SIL Emily had been wanting to go to Ikea because she is redecorting Harper's bedroom....and sadly the nearest Ikea is almost 4 hours away from us haha. So she took a personal day off work today and another friend of hers and myself road tripped  with her to Ikea--fun stuff :-) Grandma watched the kids since it's her day off....thanks Grandma!!!

I didn't buy much (I mainly wanted  to go along for  adult conversation lol) but I did get a super long floating shelf for above our master bed like I"ve been wanting....and then I got some colorful picture frames for the playroom and also two "clothesline" looking things for displaying artwork in the playroom as well. I got a couple little organizational things and then a present for the girls---a play tunnel to crawl through (it was cheap and matched their  bedroom perfectly so I couldn't pass it up---they loved  it :-)

So that was my day---lots of roadtripping, 4+ hours spent in Ikea (no really haha), and a few fun new purchases. Tomorrow I'll try to take some pictures though, since I'm sure you're all going through withdrawal!!

...and guess  what? TOMORROW IS  FRIDAY!!!!!

It's  time for our weekly "4 is great" post :-) After seeing these cute cousin pictures you're  going to all want to go have a few more kids, I just  know it lol.

4 is a chore, but it's never a bore!

Touchin' Tootsies

Here  is an unstaged look  at what 4 kids  is *really* like! ;-)

Raya is such a lover :-)

Notice how her cousins were recipricating the love LOL

I told them to line up to head downstairs. I love how Raya is gazing
adoringly at cousin Sawyer. She does this all day long. He's pretty much a God to her haha

Happy "hump day"!!!

Rest in Peace Dear Friend

R.I.P.

Do you notice anything missing?

Brielle's beloved  monkey paci died  today :-( I was getting her in the carseat and noticed the paci  had fallen under  her butt. When I went to pull  it out from under her the paci detached from sock monkey. There is really no way to reattache it so it's pretty much the end  of an era!

It was so pitiful too.  The whole car ride home Brielle had the paci part in her  mouth and was just holding on to  the monkey staring at him. She  couldn't figure out what  was going on! Then later when she got upset she went to grab the monkey  paci and instead just  got the monkey....and was desperately trying to suck on his  now empty nose. I'm hoping we can get away with back up lion paci and have her  just hold the monkey toy ....we'll see. I may be  placing an overnight online order for a  monkey wubanub :-P

Here was Brielle carrying around her "dead" friend this morning...

Just not the same without the attached monkey!
So as an "In Memory" post today I  thought I'd dig up some pictures over the last year of Brielle and her  dear friend :-) She got monkey paci when she was a couple months old.

This is the very first picture I have of her and monkey paci

Even  though monkey  paci  is almost always with her, I actually don't have *that* many pictures  of them together because I usually take it away from her  before photoshoots lol. But here are a few I found to share---

"I love and miss you monkey paci! Love, Brielle"

"Don't worry, dear friend....you will always know that even though I have lion paci as backup, it will never  be the same! You are irreplaceable. XOXO"

Looks  like I'm stuck  with you now, lion paci! Perhaps I can learn to love  you too.
