Hanging shoe racks are good for EVERYTHING! My favorite is in my front closet for scarves, hats, mittens, etc. Keeps them so nice and organized. I want to do one for first aid stuff and medicine too. I'll keep the barbie idea for when my girls are a little older!!
My question is, do you find they put it back easier when they are in this? I am always finding great ways to organize, but it only stays organized until the next time the girls play with the stuff because they never put it back. :( I hate that! We have some great options like this in our new spring Thirty-One catalog so I was thinking of ordering some.
So far they are putting them back. I find that my girls will pick up after themselves only as much as I enforce it haha. So if I basically say "get the Barbies put back or you can't leave the playroom until they are" then suddenly they are put back ;-) But if I let them get away with leaving them on the floor then they will lol.
Yeah, it's much better than the giant bin I had been storing ours in before. They can see them now and rather than dump out the whole bin just pick the couple they actually want!
What a great idea, I might have to do this. Once we move I have a huge tub with all my Barbie's from when I was little I was gonna give to the girls. I have a bunch of other Barbie things too, so this will come in handy
Those hanging racks are great for organizing tons of things! Now, if only I could get my kiddos to put everything back where they got it from... ;0)
